About This Part
OEM thermal fuse for Maytag, Whirlpool, Kenmore, and Amana dryers. Located on the blower housing next to the blower fan, this one-time safety device cuts power to the motor or burner when the dryer overheats. Once blown it cannot be reset — it must be replaced. A clogged exhaust vent is the most common cause of a blown thermal fuse. Always clean the vent thoroughly before installing a new fuse. Replaces WP3392519VP, 3392519, 3388651, AP6008325.
