About This Part
OEM thermistor (temperature sensor) for Maytag, Whirlpool, Kenmore, and KitchenAid dryers. Mounts on the blower housing and continuously monitors exhaust air temperature, signaling the control board to regulate heat output. When it fails, the dryer may display E1, E2, F3 E1, or F3 E2 error codes, overheat, or stop heating prematurely. Replacement requires only a Phillips screwdriver. Replaces 8577274, WP8577274VP, 3976615, 3390292, AP6013514.
