Drain Pump Motor Assembly

Removes water from the dishwasher tub during the drain cycle. Uses an impeller to force water through the drain hose. When this pump fails, the dishwasher won't drain and will display a 5C or 5E error code. Not repairable — must be replaced if defective.

Moderate — standard tools required, some disassembly needed. Allow 30–45 minutes.
